  • Pradhan says:

A quick question: will the tournament publish a full docket of team results in prelims?

  • Jason says:

I can post the records and top 30 speakers on monday.

  • BenjaminMorris says:

    Pradhan:

I emailed the tournament director (Dr. Jaich) this morning, asking him to post the full results on debateresults.com. He hasn’t replied yet.

Is Rita not giving you guys NFL points until it’s online or something?

  • POI says:

SCU never posts results online. But as Jason indicated above, POI should have the results up by Monday. We have the packet, he just needs to scan/upload it.

  • Aditya says:

Yeah SCU fails in that regard…

  • Erik Camacho says:

Yah, SCU fails epically. They should run it through JOT.

  • Artem says:

From what I heard, the guy who owns JOT has a virtual monopoly on the HS circuit, so his prices are insane. There’s also an issue of tournaments run by CEDA/NPDA college programs being more used to debateresults. I am not an expert on the subject, but I think forensicstournament.net/ is probably the best compromise option.

  • Jason says:

Updated. I’ll upload the scans later tonight.

  • Pradhan says:

Thanks for your effort guys. Its truly appreciated.

And to BenjaminMorris who asked about my points-

No, Rita will give us points whenever she feels like it or has the time for it. She doesn’t need a true docket up for that.

  • Erik Camacho says:

When will the prelim packet be posted?

  • Jason says:

most of the info on them is posted. My scanner is broken, so the actual packet can’t be uploaded until i fix it.

  • Aditya says:

Artem says Jason’s scanner broke down or something -_-
Sooo…Actually one of our freshmen who made it to LD finals has our packet; I’ll try and get it from her soon and I can possibly upload it

  • Aditya says:

Ok apparently Jason got his comment in while I was typing mine haha

  • SCU Packet says:

… has finally been scanned. Enjoy.

  • Erik Camacho says:

    Woooo SCU PACKETS!!! thanks!

  • Aditya says:

    Well…
Technically they were OCRd, and I didn’t edit it much before I sent it to Artem, so there may be a lot of characters which the scanner couldn’t recognize as what is seen on the paper.
