At least two tournaments in the New England are offering parli - Manchester ( http://averill.tabroom.com/?page_id=51 ) and Yale ( https://www.tabroom.com/index/index.mhtml?tourn_id=733&league_id=6 ). The format for both differs significantly from the West Coast model.

We should have the initial list up in about a month, and we'll add to it as more info gets released.

Ya. Thats the problem... if any of those tournaments went to Sept or Oct they'd have 2x the entries See Jack Howe-- Three parli rounds got 75 teams from socal-- that was the largest socal parli ever.

That's definitely problematic, and not just in SoCal. The CFL parli Big 4 (SCU, MLK, Stanford, SQuals), as well as the LD bid tourneys CFL debaters attend(CPS, VBD, Stanford, Berkeley, Harker) are all crammed in slightly over 2 months. I hope Garcia grows to offset that, but I'm also surprised there are virtually no tournaments after March.

Well, Cal Lutheran is a brand-new tourney. This is its first year, and not all coaches even received word of its inception.

Hi...

Look at the entries @ Cal Lutheran and Claremont. I'm from a SoCal school. Why are so many more entered at Claremont?

McMinnville tournament in Oregon will happen on January 30.

Windsor will count for POI points, granted that it remains open to non-GGSA schools. Stanford attracted 37 GGSA teams last year, whereas Windsor had an 87 team field, so there were at least 50 teams that would go to Windsor, but not Stanford.
