Small points, but…
The 2009 staff included longtime policy debate instructor Judy Butler.
The 2010 camp was the first year where we offered two separate week-long camps; the staff for week one was Matt Vassar, Kate Falkenstien from Yale University, and superstar Nick Robinson (debate coach at Whitman University, where he’s led the Whitman team to the national sweepstakes title two years in a row; he also had debaters appear in the final round at NPTE nationals in 2011).
For this year’s 2011 camp, I’m joined by Emma Henry and Mark Rauschmayer, both debaters at University of the Pacific who are currently chasing a national championship for the 2011-2012 season. Also joining me is Jon Thorpe (O’Dowd) and his former state championship team (Kate Drew and Carey Appeldorn).
(Also, Matthew Nevin of Head Royce High School joined me in 2008 as a half-instructor/half-admin position to give me some much needed help with a lot of behind-the-scenes camp issues!)
