the following email has been sent out to tournament participants:

"Payment

Bring your checks to the tournament. Please make them payable to "Lynbrook Speech and Debate Boosters." Remember, the entry fee is $120 and the judge fee for teams not providing a judge is $160.

Schedule

Please arrive by 8:50AM. The challenges for round 1 pairings will be made directly before the tournament; teams that are late will forfeit their turn.

If the tournament runs ahead of schedule, we will potentially add a run-off round to ensure that all 6-4s clear. Awards will still only be given to semifinalists.

9:30-11:00 Round 1
11:00-12:30 Round 2

Videos

We will potentially videotape some of the rounds and post the videos online. Debaters who are interested should contact us. All four debaters in the round need to sign a consent form in order for that round to be recorded.

Oh wow, I thought it was a lot more Senior-dominated at a glance.

I think Rylan, Akshay, Ben M. (not me!), and Ben M. (me!) are Juniors, too.
