Nathan Mathabane and Stephen Kenyon are your 2009 Oregon State Champions
Congratulations to Nathan Mathabane and Stephen Kenyon from Lincoln for defeating Wilson High School’s James Ranney and Marcus Robinson in the final round of OSAA State to become the new Oregon State Champions in Public Debate (the Oregon version of parli debate). Nathan and Stephen are coached by Bart Millar, James and Marcus are coached by Matt Compton. Extended results can be found here.
In other news, the POI “Forum” is now open. You can find basic information about it under Rules. We are considering adding a separate forum later. We definitely hope that this forum will provide a much-needed platform for discourse in the high school parli community
