Sam goes to Carlsbad High School where he was the Parliamentary Debate Captain for two years and is now the Debate Captain.
Sam enjoys Indian food, Modest Mouse, and Ray Bradbury.
Sam debates with his partner Natasha Maldi who is much better looking than he is (seriously, she wins beauty pageants). Female judges consistently comment on their love of her arguments and of her shoes.
Sam had an 82.48% win percentage and got 2 TOC bids last year.
