Iain Lampert

Iain Lampert is my name, vaguely resembling the POI guy is my game.
I’m currently attending UCLA with a number of my more talented friends. I’m a member of our mock trial team. If you’re considering coming to UCLA, I’m planning on forcing you to join.
I dove into the wide, wonderful world of speech and debate as a junior in high school. I won the TCFL league championship two years in a row (with Kevin Amirdjanian and then Molly Moran), breaking to round four of the CHSSA state tournament in 2009 and to quarter-finals (round six) in 2010. Additionally, the exceedingly eloquent Nick Hall and I won the 2010 Cal Lutheran Parli championship and took 6th place at the first annual California Cup.
My main event in high school was impromptu speaking. I was the 2010 state champion in impromptu, and love talking about it. Seriously, don’t get me started. My other claim to fame is an encyclopedic knowledge of speech statistics and rankings. I’ve been a lonely man.
I currently coach at Los Angeles CES, lecturing about parliamentary debate, impromptu speaking, and my love life.
If you’d like to get in touch with me regarding our incipient team, you might find me, if you like, around Fleet Street, I wouldn’t wonder.
