Artem Raskin
Artem Raskin was a member of Lynbrook Speech and Debate in 2005-2009. He was the Lynbrook Parli Captain in the 2008-2009 season.
He is an alumnus of SNFI’07 Schrader lab (parli top lab), where he was the runner-up to debate in the final demo round, and VBI’08 Lawrence/Diehl/Van Elswyk lab (LD advanced lab).
He was undefeated at CFL league, cleared at SCU Fall, MLK-Logan, Stanford and BACDL Finals (in LD), and had winning records at many tournaments including Berkeley (in LD) and the CFL State Qualifier.
His junior year, he and his partner were ranked 17th in CHSSA Area 1.
His senior year, he and his partner were ranked 33rd in CHSSA Area 1 by POI; he was individually ranked 16th in California Coast by NFL.
As a college freshman, Artem co-founded California Cup and served as its associate tournament director.
He currently debates in NPDA-parli for UC Davis.
In his spare time, Artem studies political science and works as a journalist at the California Progress Report.
