Aditya Majumdar
Aditya Majumdar joined Lynbrook Speech and Debate in 2007 as a freshman.
Aditya was the Lynbrook Parliamentary Debate Captain in 2008-2009 and Vice President of the team in 2009-2010.
He will serve as Co-President in the 2010-2011 season.
As a novice, Aditya was the champion of SCU Fall, Evergreen Novite, and the Lynbrook Novite.
As varsity, he was a champion, top seed and top speaker at St. Francis, cleared at MLK-Logan, Stanford, UOP, and SCU Spring, and was the alternate to the State Tournament.
Specifically for Parli, Aditya ranked 7th in CFL/GGSA in 2009, and 39th in the state in 2010. So far during the 2010-2011 season, he is ranked first in California.
He is also ranked in the top 200 individuals in the national NFL organization.
Aditya has also done well in speech events, winning 8th place in Impromptu at MLK-Logan in 2009, and 9th place in Extemp at MLK in 2010, as well as consistently clearing at CFL League Tournaments as well as other invitationals.
He hopes to build upon this success in his senior year and travel to more tournaments.
